Pavo de navidad al estilo peruano

 

Ingredientes para Pavo de navidad al estilo peruano:

• 1 pavo (3 a 4,5 Kg)
• 1 cebollas medianas
• 1 zanahoria 
• 3 manzanas 
• 4 rodajas de miga de pan de molde en dados y sin corteza
• 1 ½ taza de pecanas
• 1 taza de pasas
• ½ taza de leche
• 1 cucharadas chuño
• 1 cucharadita de especias (pimentón picante, romero , ajo )
• zumo de 1 limón
• Pimienta y sal a gusto
• 1 ½ taza de coca cola.

 Cómo hacer Pavo de navidad al estilo peruano paso a paso:

Paso 1: Limpiar el pavo, preparar una mezcla con el limón, las especias y la salpimentar) untar el pavo con ella. En un bol poner la zanahoria rallada, la manzana y las pecanas peladas y picadas, las pasas y la miga de pan con la leche. Rellenar el pavo cerrar con hilo, rociar con 1 ½ taza de coca cola y cocer en horno precalentado a 180ºC durante 4 horas para un pavo de 5 Kg, cubierto con papel de aluminio, una hora antes de terminar la cocción retirar el papel para que se dore y mojar con el fondo de cocción. Retirar el pavo para cortar y el fondo de cocción espesar con la cucharada de chuño. Servir cortado en rodajas con algo de relleno y acompañar con ensaladas y puré de manzana. Se calculan 25 minutos de cocción por cada kilogramo de pavo a cocinar.
